Roy France was one of the principal architects of the Miami Beach Art Deco Architectural District. He was born in Hawley, Minnesota on April 8, 1888. He attended the Armour Institute of Technology in Chicago from 1905 to 1906, and the Chicago Technical School. He died in Miami Beach on February 15, 1972.
