Albert Anis was one of the principal architects of the Miami Beach Art Deco Architectural District. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 8, 1899. He attended the Armour Institute of Technology in Chicago from 1908 to 1910. He died in Miami Beach on August 28, 1964.
