History: |
Edward Charlton, wigmaker, purchased the house around 1770. The current structure was probably built on the foundations of a smaller house.

Structure: |
This is a two-story, two-room deep house with a central entrance and hallway. The ground floor has a left room or hall with the full depth of the house and two rooms to the right. There is a staircase compartment at the back and to the right of the hallway, which makes the back room smaller.
Chimneys: |
The house has interior chimneys, set on the side edges of the house.
